The Grand Forks Senior Center frozen meals are a great alternative to most frozen meals found in grocery stores. Prepared at the Grand Forks Senior Center, most meals have 500mg or less of sodium and contain less than 30% of the calories from fat - and they are tasty! The meals are flash frozen and may be oven baked or microwaved. Frozen meals are available for pick up at the Grand Forks Senior Center (620 4th Ave S) during regular business hours. For homebound seniors, delivery can be arranged by calling 701-772-7245 and asking for the Resources Department.
Ordering Frozen Meals
To order frozen meals, please call or visit the Grand Forks Senior Center site manager at 701-757-4869 or 620 4th Ave South in Grand Forks. You can also contact the site manager via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are homebound, delivery can be arranged by calling the Grand Forks Senior Center. Because we do not deliver daily, multiple meals will be delivered at one time.
Cost of Frozen Meals
The cost of a frozen meal is $3.50. The cost of a frozen meal is less than a Meals on Wheels or Senior Dining meal because it does not include milk, bread, or fruit. SNAP (food stamps) and EBT accepted. Credit cards and debit cards are also accepted. You will not be denied meals due to inability to pay; a Resource Team member may qualify you for free or reduced price frozen meals. To speak to a Resource Team member about qualifying for this program, call the Grand Forks Senior Center at 701-772-7245 and ask for Resources.
