Membership
The Grand Forks Senior Center (GFSC) appreciates the support of its members. An annual membership for a couple is $30/year and for an individual it is $20/year. Halfway through the year, the membership is prorated, so after July 1 membership for a couple is $15/year and $10/year for an individual, and starting October 1 membership is $5/person for the remainder of the year.
Being a member of the GFSC gives you the following benefits:
Ability to go on GFSC trips
Free coffee, hot chocolate, and tea
Voting rights at the annual meeting
Participation, if so desired, in exercise classes
Knowledge that you are supporting the GFSC
Option to get the Silver Express Newsletter mailed to you if you live outside of Grand Forks or Nelson counties.
You do not need to be a GFSC member to use our facilities or our services (meals, foot care, resources).
Beginning in 2027 GFSC Membership is required for the following:
To get the Silver Express Newsletter mailed to you. (Email does not require Membership.)
To participate in any activities including but not limited to cards, crafts, dominoes, Music Monday, exercise classes, Wii bowling, tech support, use of the computers, use of the pool table, use of the library, senior supper outings, tours
Bingo will not require Membership due to state gaming laws.
Meals, Health/Footcare, Resources, and Transportation Fare Assistance are not considered activities. A membership is not required for these items.
To participate in any GFSC Special Events (Such as Tea and Style Shows)
To go on GFSC trips
Voting rights at the annual meeting
Knowledge/satisfaction that you are supporting the GFSC and all of its programs!
