Bone Builders Exercise Class

This chair-based exercise class that focuses on balance and osteoporosis prevention is a fun and socially-engaging way for people to remain active. Participants with a variety of mobility and fitness levels benefit from Bone Builders. Fellow class participants will soon become friends.

For beginners, call Activity Director Ranea Johnson at 701-757-4866 or email activity@gfseniorcenter.org to get trained in a small beginner's class before moving on to an advanced class.

Currently there are two advanced Bone Builders classes at the Grand Forks Senior Center, with each meeting twice a week for an hour. There are also two satellite Bone Builders classes, led by Grand Forks Senior Center volunteers, in senior living locations in the community. Check out the list to the right.

Before participating in a Bone Builder's class, you will need a doctor's waiver. You can either pick one up at the Grand Forks Senior Center front desk or download it here.
